Chicago...Here I Come!

So, I am going to Chicago in 2 weeks to visit a friend for the weekend...I've never been before, so I am truly excited to see the "big city"! My friend Dante is flying me out there and we are going shopping on Michigan Ave., sailing around the harbor in his boat, going to a real blues club and going to the vikings/bears game on sunday* I just hope the weather is nice...I'm sure it will be. It should be quite the experience and I am truly looking forward to seeing my friend and just relaxing for a few days. I only have one day off a week right now, so three days is a dream*

dogs are insane little creatures

So, remember my 7 yr old pit bull I was telling you about earlier? Well, she was on vacation in Duluth with her father last week & she attacked and killed a skunk...which obviously means that she managed to get sprayed right in her mouth and al down the front of her. She's white with brown markings so she looked yellow! Yuk!! To say the least, the skunky smell is still lingering a little but it's getting better* She had never had a kill & we wanted to keep it that way...but of all things to kill, why a skunk??

The way Life Goes

SOmetimes I think its crazy how life can twist and turn and throw you for a loop when you're leaest expecting it. I am going to Chicago in a few weeks to visit a friend that I havent seen in two years! I've never been to CHicago, but from what I hear, is that I'll love it*
